- Bahn TV Online, the German Railways TV website, includes a number of films on tramway subjects from around the world.

Bildarchiv der Kunst und Architektur. The German photo archive of art and architecture includes historic street scenes with trams. The example here shows the Lindentunnel on tram route 35 in Berlin in 1934. Go to "Orte" and you get an alphabetical index of place names.
- British Pathe website allows the download of sample film clips from their news archive. Use their search to find trams and model trams.
- Electric Transport in Latin America is a website from Allen Morrison.
- Light Rail Atlas (LRA) is based in Netherlands. LRA provides maps of Light Rail systems around the world.
- Metro Planet is a site by Robert Schwandl covering most of the metro systems of the world.
- RailFind The UK railway website directory.
- SugerHouse Trolley in the US have a useful page of links to museum and heritage tramway websites.
- Tramways of Asia is a site which contains information on many Asian countries.
- The 30937 Photographic Group has tram photos. Select "item" and key "tram" on their search page.
- Trainnet.org although mainly railway, has a massive directory of links.
- The Tram section of opzijnbest.nl is an index of tramway links (in Dutch)
- Trams & Urban Transit magazine's news website.
- Tra.ms is the front page for several tramway websites.
